A Farmer's Son Changes His Fate Through the Imperial Exams, Bringing His Cannon Fodder Sister Along

Half a month after transmigrating, Chen Changsheng is recovering from a broken leg. His father dotes on him, his stepmother waits on him, and his sisters look after him. He has also figured out the family's finances and connections: his father is the best chef for weddings and funerals in the surrounding villages, while his uncle is a lame peddler who goes from street to street.

There is no problem with continuing his studies.

But getting revenge for his original body's mistreatment by a licentiate's son at the county school? That's not happening.

Just as Chen Changsheng is pondering how to make a protagonist-style comeback, his cheap little sister, Chen Daniang, blushes and shyly asks if she can give an egg to their poor neighbor, Gu Cong.

Only then does he realize he has become the older brother of Chen Daniang, the vicious antagonist in Transmigrating to Ancient Times to Take the Imperial Exams.

Chen Daniang is too foolish to be worthy of the transmigrated male protagonist, but she turns bitter with jealousy and resorts to all kinds of underhanded schemes. She even becomes the concubine of a sixty-year-old prefect, hoping to use pillow talk to rob the male lead of his triumphant triple-crown exam success.

In the end, her malicious plot is exposed by the transmigrated male protagonist, and she dies.

Of course, before Chen Daniang dies, the Chen family have already met all sorts of gruesome ends because of the male lead.

Chen Changsheng's eyes redden with fury. They dare challenge a college entrance exam student to a test?

He immediately cries out to his parents and elders, "Ancestors, protect us!"

As he shouts, he pulls over his genius sister, who has a photographic memory, and tells them solemnly, "The ancestors say the immortals told them that my sister and I are destined to become top scholars. If you don't believe it, why not let my sister serve as my study companion for now? She can learn a few characters first!"

The Chen family stare at him in unison.

Years later, everyone is left dumbfounded, and the obscure transmigrated male protagonist is consumed by bitter hatred.

The first female top scholar's academic journey, which began as a study companion, is widely celebrated. Even more astonishingly, the iron-fisted and ruthless Grand Secretary Chen, who deposed and enthroned emperors and drove reforms to the imperial examinations, writes an autobiography titled:

I, a Transmigrator, Owe All My Achievements to Stealing Civilization from the Future
