(1v1, CP: Shang Yi)
Zhaoge always thought she was just an ordinary woman passing by, until she was accidentally bound by a human-trafficker System. As she struggled, she punched the System to death, only to discover that she had extraordinary talent after all!
Good news: The System is dead, and she inherited its assets.
Bad news: She was dumped into the future, and the System is missing most of its functions.
Even worse news: Humanity now has to face not only unknown civilizations in the universe, but also all kinds of uncanny beings resurfacing on Blue Star.
In a panic, Zhaoge managed to repair the System enough to use it as her golden finger.
Though she had no idea why the gacha numbers inside it kept going up on their own, she confidently tried a single draw.
And what did she get? Herself: [Zhaoge]
Secret identity 1: Zhaoge
In the age of uncanny resurgences, major cities were divided into numbered districts for convenience. Their old names were gradually abandoned to the river of history.
Every appearance of an uncanny being meant bloody slaughter. But one morning, students caught up in an uncanny incident saw the "Mountain Spirit."
She had long blue-green hair and appeared and disappeared at the people's sides like a mountain spirit. She spoke an ancient, obscure language and casually tossed out a piece of jade.
They understood what she meant:
"Bi." The pale blue, round piece of jade carried the lightness of wind and clouds, and immediately slaughtered the uncanny being.
Everyone: !
They wondered what her name was.
A gentle breeze swept away the morning mist, and sunlight spilled down. They heard her sigh softly: "Welcome the rising sun, sing a triumphant song. My name is Zhaoge."
Low, ancient music washed away the filth left behind by the uncanny being.
Secret identity 2: Xianyang
Ever since a mysterious person appeared at dawn to save some high school students, District X also gained an urban legend: a mighty man on horseback would stalk the uncanny beings at midnight, chasing them down eighteen streets with a six-foot-long bronze sword.
Secret identity 3: Chang'an
She was dignified and elegant, beautiful and refined. Benevolent governance in her left hand, rule through noninterference in her right. The thing she said most often was, "If you don't want to do nothing, how about I teach you how?"
The uncanny being: Dead.
Secret identity 4: Luoyang
She wore splendid robes, with a full, voluptuous figure. The peonies she casually plucked concealed deadly intent.
She smiled. "I don't like blades flashing and people fighting and killing."
The uncanny being, strangled to death by peony petals: ?
...I'll leave out some secret identities. I feel like I'll write the secret identity settings before I write this book...
Later, people discovered that these strange "people" came from an organization called [The Old Days]. Later still, they discovered that these were the cities they had built!
#Returning to the roots, dropping the numbers, and restoring the cities' rightful names is urgent
#A Blue Star Daily reporter interviews the city of Zhaoge and asks what she wants to be called. Zhaoge: Just Zhaoge. Don't go changing it randomly.
#Some City: I have something to say! Why didn't anyone ask me back then?
#Runan misses you.jpg
Q: Why is the organization called [The Old Days]?
A: Some members strongly insisted on it. They yearn for the glory of the old days (and for the return of the good old city names).
Q: Then what is [Re-Form]? Is it part of the same organization?
A: Of course not! Those people have no sense of aesthetics. They actually think the numbered cities are fine! They're far too soft on humanity!
...The setting is that when the role-playing progress bar fills up, that city's true self awakens...
...The heroine is the city of Zhaoge, the last capital of the Yin Shang dynasty...
...The reason the heroine and her secret identities were chosen is that their names sound nice (?)...
...There is a romance, and the CP is Shang Yi (the birthplace of Yin Shang and its first capital), but most of the main story is about saving the world. The romance is a subplot, more about a deep, natural bond built over a thousand years of companionship...
...The extras will fill in some sweet romance (though I'm not sure how well I'll write it, I'm not very good at romance scenes hahaha)...
...If I've offended anyone from your hometown, I'm truly sorry qwq...
...The heroine's skills are based on the six kinds of jade used in Yin Shang rituals...
I thought about it and decided to use the Everyone Loves Me tag. Surely a city would be universally loved, at least by its own residents (?)
