Tell Daji I'm a Native of the Shang Dynasty

(This story has a prequel, but you can read this without it. The heroine transmigrates into a System. The chapters are arranged in historical order; the bonus chapters with other ideas are in random order.)

When Daji first met "Shang," she was kneeling in the great hall, a spoil of war, a prisoner.

"Shang" watched coldly as she entered the imperial harem and fought to survive.

Seeing her ruthlessness, she said only, "Interesting."

-

The second time they met, she asked, "Want to escape?"

"The world is in chaos. We might as well leave while we can."

"Daji dares to ask you to leave with me."

She smiled, as if amused by Daji's naivete. "Oh? Do you know who I am?"

"You..."

Her expression barely changed as she said lightly, "I am Shang, the Shang you intend to overthrow."

Daji: !!!

So here's the question: What are the odds of running off with the "tyrannical Shang"?

Daji: The odds are low, but not zero. JPG

The Shang king and King Zhou are still fighting up front, but the Shang Dynasty has already run off with Daji in the back. JPG

Halfway through the battle, they suddenly realize there's one more person fighting for the world. Is that right? JPG

As far as Daji is concerned: Shang is funding her campaign to overthrow Shang. She must be the chosen one.

-

For the bonus story in this world, Daji, who lived to a ripe old age after becoming emperor, accidentally transmigrates into Investiture of the Gods. Her boss has just ordered her to bring about the fall of the Shang Dynasty.

Daji: Ah... me?

Daji: Sure, no problem!

After successfully performing a ritual to petition the state, Daji grows confident. A rebellion? That's right in her wheelhouse!

Once they reach the capital, Chaoge, Daji performs a sacrifice to Heaven and tells her boss the mission is complete.

Daji: Forget everything else. Just tell me, has Shang fallen or not?

-

In the bonus chapters, Daji asking "Shang" to join her is a necessary step. She couldn't possibly succeed in starting a rebellion on her own, because in this world, the gods are real.

I haven't decided what to name the country Daji establishes. If I get that far, I'll ask everyone for ideas on the spot (? ).

This is the first version of the blurb. I threw it together in the middle of the night and thought it was pretty good. I'll take another look after I wake up.
