Tell Li Shimin I'm a Native of the Sui Dynasty

(This story has a prequel, but you can read this one on its own. It follows what happens after the female lead transmigrates and becomes a System.) (The main chapters are arranged in historical order. The bonus chapters with other ideas are in random order.)

Li Shimin had been able to see a "person" no one else could see ever since he was little. When children said their first words, calling out to their parents, they would say "Father" or "Mother."

But he was different. He called "Father" toward a place everyone else saw as empty, then promptly got his neck squeezed by someone no one could see.

He learned at a very young age that the one who sometimes appeared at their residence to secretly watch him and his siblings was Sui, a spirit born from this land and named after a dynasty.

When he was little, he never thought about rebellion. He once told Sui that when he grew up, he hoped to become a great general who could protect her.

But life is unpredictable, and Li Shimin never expected that when he grew up, instead of defending his country, he would rebel against the Sui Dynasty right in front of Sui.

At first, he felt a little guilty. But later, with Sui's tacit approval, he became more and more brazen.

What had he done wrong? He only wanted to give Sui a new name. JPG.

Sui replied coolly, "Hah. Liar."

Before the Xuanwu Gate Incident, Li Shimin dragged his feet. Before setting out, he even asked Tang to bless him. Tang was speechless and deliberately brought up the time Li Shimin had nearly been strangled as a child. "If you remember that I nearly strangled you back then, why are you still asking me to bless you? Aren't you afraid I'll kick you off your horse?"

Li Shimin grinned shamelessly. "Nope."

He put on a perfect display of someone who knew he could get away with anything because he was favored. Tang said nothing, only smiling meaningfully. "Suit yourself."

Sui watched the child who had grown up saying he would protect her turn around and rebel against her: young Li Shimin, or Er Feng, x the aloof and taciturn Sui. Er Feng x Tang, who later became awkward and haughty.

In the end, I decided to split Tang's story into two worlds. The current planned order is Li Shimin, then Wu Zetian.

Because of JJ's new rules, which are brutal to long works, I decided to split the story I had planned to write as one book into a collection of stories about different dynasties. Unless something unexpected happens, this will be a collection about the Tang Dynasty, featuring someone pretending to be the consciousness of a nation.
