Killer Kitty, Righting Wrongs

The assassin Bai Ji transmigrates into a stray tabby cat. For one reason or another, he ends up following the same path as in his previous life and becomes an assassin once again.

First job:

Nothing in his life goes right. He doesn't dare take out his anger and resentment on others, so late at night he lures small animals back to his home and tortures them to death, indulging his twisted desires.

One day, after successfully luring a tabby cat home, he's about to carry out all manner of cruel acts when the little cat shoots him in the head. As he teeters on the brink of death, he hears the cat speak: "A cat paid five cans of food for your life, but I waived the fee."

Second job:

He's the CEO of a corporation. To cut costs, he secretly dumps large amounts of pollutants into a river, killing every living thing that depends on it.

As he revels in a life of luxury and excess, he doesn't notice that a tabby cat has set its sights on him.

When people find him again, he's been shot dead in a sealed room, with no clues left behind.

Third job:

When he was young, he beat his wife until she ran away and neglected his children. When he got old and wanted someone to support him, he found that his children were useless and unreliable.

Then he discovered a way to get rich: faking accidents to extort people.

He specifically targets naive college students and women who look kindhearted. A few crocodile tears, combined with his old-man appearance, get him hefty payouts. It's practically guaranteed profit.

But as he's eating, drinking, and making merry with the settlement money, drunk out of his mind, a little cat has already been lying in wait in the shadows for a long time.

By sunrise, the old bastard's body is stiff, and clear footage of his repeated scams has spread all over the internet.

The surveillance cameras in those places were broken. No one knows where the videos came from.

After finishing what he has to do, Bai Ji returns to his territory and lazily basks in the sun. He rounds up a few underlings, beats up some dogs, catches a few birds, and generally enjoys the good life.

No one would ever guess that the most mysterious and elusive assassin is a stray tabby cat living in the university district.
