[Launching in October] After Swiping My Ex's Intimate Payment Account by Mistake While Buying a Burial Plot

Bai Shuise thought the worst thing in the world was dying before you had a chance to spend all your money.

So on the day she was discharged, she planned how to use what little money she had left:

One: Buy a wig.

Two: Have a big meal.

Three: Pick a lucky spot for her grave.

But she made a small miscalculation.

She didn't have enough money to buy the plot, so the payment automatically went on her ex-boyfriend's shared spending account.

By the time Bai Shuise realized what had happened, she'd already been summoned to the police station.

Sitting across from her was her ex-boyfriend. She hadn't seen him in years, and he was dressed to the nines. When he saw her, he gave her a cold smile. "Settle this privately, or shall you spend a little time in a cell?"

-

Bai Shuise and Gu Jiasheng walked out of the police station side by side.

The night was clear, with countless stars overhead. Gu Jiasheng suddenly draped an arm over her shoulders.

Bai Shuise got goosebumps and shrank away.

Gu Jiasheng leaned closer. The boyishness had left his features, but traces of youthful swagger still lingered between his brows.

"Come on," he said. "Let me see how miserable you've been since you left me. You can't even afford a decent grave."

-

Gu Jiasheng regretted two things in his life.

First, that he hadn't been able to give Bai Shuise a home when she was eighteen.

Second, that he'd given her only one home, after she was gone, on that high mountain.

The mountain was covered in her favorite flowers, and from there they could see the courtyard where they had grown up together.

"I never gave you those beautiful dreams. I will regret it all my life."
