After the Divorce, Are You Still Coming Home for Dinner?

In the third year of their marriage,

Qiao Anzi asked Zhou Yan for a divorce.

They sat across from each other at the dining table,

with nothing on it but a divorce agreement.

"Are you sure you've thought this through?"

Zhou Yan took out a pen and asked quietly before signing.

Qiao Anzi nodded without hesitation.

"I'd like to know why you want a divorce," Zhou Yan asked calmly.

"You're boring, especially in bed."

Qiao Anzi lifted her chin haughtily, putting extra emphasis on the last two words.

When she saw Zhou Yan frown,

she finally got the satisfaction of letting out her pent-up anger.

Heaven knows that for the past three years, whenever they were in bed, no matter how much she punched and kicked,

all he did was keep his head down and work hard without saying a word.

He had no sense of romance at all, and was unbearably stiff,

just like he was at work every day.

Qiao Anzi felt she had had enough.

Before Qiao Anzi left with the signed divorce papers,

Zhou Yan spoke again. "I have one last question."

He looked up at her and asked in all seriousness,

"After the divorce, will you still come home for dinner?"

Qiao Anzi: "...You're crazy."

Then the door slammed with a deafening bang.

In the vast, empty room, Zhou Yan sat in silence for a long time. Then he took out his phone and started searching, one question after another: "What should I do if my wife won't come home for dinner after our divorce?"

"Why did my wife suddenly stop liking the food I cook?"

"Can we get divorced without moving out?"

"How do you make someone more interesting?"
