[Western Crossover] A Cat's Daily Life in Gotham

You’re nine years old. At Christmas, you make a wish to Santa: You want a little black cat. But you misspell Santa as Satan. So he writes back: Sure, in exchange for your soul. You don’t understand why Santa needs an exchange, but you decide to offer up your soul anyway: 1. The seasoning packet from instant noodles, 2. Ketchup for your fries, 3. The tapioca pearls in your milk tea, ...and so on. And so you get a little black cat. The black-haired part-time Santa who brings it to you says its name is Belial. You: Great. From today on, your name is Maria! Cat: No. My name is Belial. You: But cats can’t talk. On your ninth Christmas, you get a little black cat. Damian has earned multiple doctoral degrees and mastered a wide range of combat skills. Then his father sends him to elementary school. On his first day, he decides his classmates are all idiots. On his second day, he discovers that his desk mate has a little black cat. On his third day, he learns that the cat is a demon named Belial. Reader’s Guide: 1. The protagonist is an ordinary person with a pretty broad-minded outlook. 2. The story is told primarily from Lucy’s perspective, in second person. 3. I made up the timeline, so there will definitely be out-of-character moments. Everyone gets filtered through Lucy’s perspective. 4. A silly slice-of-life story with lots and lots of elementary school cat-raising antics. 5. The author often writes without thinking. 6. Belial ate the logic. (Belial: ???) Theme: A happy life with cats.
