To stop the hero from quitting on the spot and going on a honeymoon, the witch was forced to join the hero's party.

Hero: Let's go home together, darling. It's too dangerous here. We'll get married when we're home, and I'll cook for you!

Companions: Aaaaaah, can someone do something about this lovesick idiot?! The Demon King is right there waiting for you!!!

And so, the witch who desperately wanted to die and couldn't be bothered to do anything, the lovesick hero who desperately didn't want to go to work, and a hero's party on the verge of a breakdown set off on a journey to (reluctantly) defeat the Demon King (while shamelessly feeding everyone along the way).

The witch's daily life: How can she protect her last little refuge of doing nothing while caught between the hero's 24-hour barrage of affection, her companions yelling, "Fight the Demon King first!" and her life force being liable to hit zero at any moment?
