Before doing anything evil, they sing a song and explain their entire criminal plan in a three-minute monologue! Vigilantes arrive with their own theme songs and sing back and forth with their opponents during fights. One line each, absolutely turn-based! The citizens of Gotham, AKA the ultimate stage crew, break into heartfelt song and dance anytime, anywhere! That’s right! We even have an encore at the curtain call! Everyone who died gets brought back to life! Including Viola, the unlucky girl who accidentally died in Gotham countless times. Viola is shocked. Viola stops thinking. Viola wants to call the police immediately. Then the GCPD gets her call and comes running over, singing and dancing. Viola: “...?” But! All music abruptly stops at midnight. The musical angel shrugs regretfully. “Can’t be helped. The world isn’t very stable, so the musical and real worlds take turns every day.” So Viola is forced to witness the following bizarre scenes. One second, an Arkham patient is rapping passionately under flashy purple lights. The next, he’s expressionlessly detonating a bomb. One second, a mysterious vigilante is twirling his cape and singing, “I am the night, I am vengeance.” The next, he’s coolly swinging away with his grappling hook. One second, the people of Gotham are holding hands and singing “Gotham loves you.” The next: Who are you? Viola: Huh??? The musical angel drops another bombshell. “Oh, and to help you get along in Gotham, we’ve given you the identity of a distant relative of a rich family.” Viola asks, “Oh, who’s that?” The musical angel, accompanied by an electrifying guitar riff 🎸🤘🏻: “The most famous guy in Gotham is your great-great-great-grandfather!” ⚡⚡⚡ Viola: ? Viola swears she’s going to write a review titled My Young, Rich Grandpa and Me. The musical angel keeps going, continuously bringing new people to Gotham. Angels and demons? Just former coworkers!
