Synopsis

[Comments are now open. Thank you, readers, for your support!]

"I am the most powerful psychic in the galaxy. I am the ruler of countless planets. I am the first enemy whose actions led to the formation of the Justice League. I am Starro the Conqueror of the Universe!"

The alien life-form now known as Jarro proudly plants his hands on his hips.

But the League's advisor is unmoved.

He says, "That has nothing to do with you wanting to become Robin."

Jarro stands in the advisor's palm and narrows his eyes.

"No, it absolutely does. If you don't agree..."

"Mm-hmm?"

"I'll keep pestering you until you do!" Jarro immediately hugs Batman's finger and begs cheerfully, "Please, Dad! Say yes! I promise I won't let you down!"

P.S.:

1. No romance. An alien starfish has no love life.

2. The Justice League appears relatively often. The story isn't limited to Gotham. The timeline is chaotic, and the choice of continuity depends entirely on my personal interests.

[Western Crossover] Charging the Green Lantern Ring

Matilda is a Green Lantern from the Source Universe.

To put it simply:

She knows she's a comic-book character, can throw hands with a certain famous comic publisher in person, and is responsible for the safety of the entire universe--

because she's the only Green Lantern in the Source Universe.

So she's busy every day.

Ever since a certain Superman punched a hole through the barriers between parallel universes, Matilda's peaceful life as a cosmic cop has taken a turn: yesterday, she was busy beating up a snarling alien; today, she has to deal with a monster that appeared on Earth; tomorrow, she'll have to find time to help the suddenly arrived Doctor fight...

And this time, she meets another Green Lantern.

A Green Lantern who...

claims to be from the main universe?

P.S.:

1. One-on-one pairing throughout. Pairing: Hal.

2. Primarily a DC crossover, with science-fiction movies as well.

Theme: Firm conviction can lead people to success

Those American TV Crossovers from Back in the Day

I mainly recommend Batfamily and Superfamily works, with a bit of everything from other Western fandoms. I think my recommendations are pretty tasteful (not really).

I thought there were only a few, but then realized there were dozens just from clicking once. I'll only pick these few.

Mostly DC! No filtering by orientation, so check for yourself...! I’ll keep updating this list, and recommendations in the comments are welcome.

Batman: Bruce Wayne-Centric

Includes Superbat and BatSup pairings. No fic that bashes Batman is allowed on this list. I'm a die-hard Batman fan. Jinjiang won't let me give it five stars, but really, four stars means it's a five-star story.

Superhero and American Crossover Recs: Mainly Batman

A die-hard Batman fan. No melodramatic family drama, and no Batman bashing in any form.

Western Comics Crossover / Batman-Friendly Is the Only Requirement

A personal list for Batman fans. Updated whenever, and discussion is welcome. I personally dislike fractured-Batman takes and Bruce being pitted against other characters, the “use your words” trope, and comparisons between Batmen from different universes.

DC: Batman-Centric

I love Batman (he's my one and only). Batman's kids feature in stories with decent writing and plots, plus one or two Superman stories and one Jason Todd story (which you can ignore).
