The Princess Consort Is Actually a Woman

Forced to marry the notorious good-for-nothing playboy of the capital, Grand Princess Xiao Li of the Great Sheng Dynasty feels that her life is hopeless.

Her husband, Wei Yun, is the prime minister's youngest son. He is good for nothing but eating, drinking, womanizing, and gambling, and is widely regarded as the biggest scoundrel in Bianjing.

Fine. She'll treat him like another ornament in the manor. They can be respectful to each other, but as cold as ice.

But this ornament seems a little strange...

When someone makes things difficult for her, he "accidentally" knocks over a wine cup and deftly defuses the situation.

When she catches a chill, precious medicinal herbs arrive anonymously.

When she's trapped in a desperate situation, he produces crucial evidence that turns the tide!

Xiao Li: ...My husband has been hiding quite a lot, hasn't he?

Just as she begins to see this mysterious "husband" in a new light, and her heart starts fluttering...

She unexpectedly discovers that the person who took an arrow for her and left her in turmoil,

underneath that fine brocade robe, is actually a woman!

Xiao Li: "!!!" Deceiving the sovereign is a grave crime. How could I possibly let this go unpunished! ...But why can I never forget the look in her eyes as she rushed to take that arrow for me?
