Miss Guan Just Loves Making Money

[A cool-looking but stubborn noblewoman VS a dazzling, fiery merchant's daughter who is actually thoughtful and sincere]

Su Qingyan, the only daughter of the Censor-in-Chief, is renowned in the capital for her talent. Calm as a chrysanthemum, she keeps an aloof world of beauty and romance in her heart.

Lin Hongxiu, the treasured daughter of the imperial merchant Lin family, is a whiz with the abacus. Bright as a flame, she sees everything through the shrewd, practical lens of business.

A Lantern Festival, a delicately crafted lotus lantern, and the two women who should never have crossed paths become enemies.

She thinks the other vulgar and obsessed with money, and presses her at every turn!

The other mocks her pretensions of being above it all, and refuses to give an inch!

They loathe each other at first sight, but fate has other plans. A government assignment forces them to work together, side by side day and night.

Arguments, compromises, probing... Yet under an umbrella in the pouring rain, over a bowl of medicine when one falls ill, and in the other's secret acts of kindness, they glimpse the equally sincere, ardent hearts beneath their cold exteriors.

But as their feelings grow, society refuses to accept them. Their fathers' opposition and the eyes of the world follow them like shadows.

When a dagger raised in defiance of an arranged marriage presses against her throat, and the other openly risks everything to declare her love, how will they fight for a future for a relationship the world will not accept?

Watch as a high official's daughter and a merchant's daughter go from bitter rivals to kindred spirits, then break free of their shackles, establish a women's academy together, and spend the rest of their lives side by side.
