Blurb:
The war between the righteous and demonic factions.
Xie Lingyu was watching the excitement from the sidelines. On her way home, she found a badly injured young man who'd lost his memory.
After washing him clean, she stared at his peerlessly handsome, refined face and let out a gasp of admiration.
She knew her darned habit of collecting handsome men had struck again.
So Xie Lingyu lied to him: "I'm your wife."
At the same time, she coaxed and tricked him into doing everything they could and couldn't do together.
But the good times didn't last.
The young man recovered his memories and tried to escape time and time again.
But the world outside was dangerous.
Xie Lingyu stared at Lu Fuwang's pretty face for a while, then resolutely locked him inside the house.
The demonic overlord Lu Fuwang had been fighting the righteous factions. When he woke from his injuries, he found that someone had taken him home.
The person who'd found him was a pretty but gloomy young woman. She had a beautiful face, but a truly awful personality, always ordering him around and treating him like a servant.
On top of that, she lied and told him she was his wife.
Then, while she was lying to him, she started taking off his clothes.
Lu Fuwang thought, I'd lost my memory, not my mind.
He tried to resist, only to realize he might actually like her a little.
But Lu Fuwang couldn't understand why, after he'd given up his identity as Demon Venerable to cook and care for her, she'd suddenly chained his hands and feet, then claimed it was a turn-on.
Locked away in the little courtyard, Lu Fuwang had thought life would carry on peacefully like this.
Then, one day, disciples of the righteous factions charged into the courtyard he shared with Xie Lingyu, swords in hand.
"Kill that demon!"
they shouted.
Lu Fuwang gave a cold laugh and reached for his sword. Just then, Xie Lingyu walked out of the house. In an instant, the disciples of the righteous factions all dropped to their knees.
"W-We pay our respects to the Dao Ancestor."
Lu Fuwang: "???"
That was when Lu Fuwang finally remembered. When he fell to the bottom of the cliff, she had picked up a rock and hit him over the head with it, making him lose his memory.
And the reason he'd been fighting the righteous factions was that he'd heard the Dao Ancestor had taken a liking to him and planned to make him her thirty-second husband...
Note: The male lead has no prior romantic or sexual relationships. Sweet romance.
The thirty-second husband is just an exaggeration.
Theme: I'll write this when I start the novel.
