Has the Commandery Princess Tricked Her Dad Again Today?

★Hilarious, pampered heroine + mind-reading and gossip + multiple secret identities. Everyone is ruthless, but the whole story goes hilariously off the rails.

★The heroine’s logic: if money can solve it, don’t use your brain. If it takes brains, don’t do it yourself.

★Romance: The Crown Prince follows her around like a shadow, and the throne is just something she hands him along the way. The Princess only cares about making money and being free.

After Yu Xiangwan is kicked in the head by a horse and loses her memory, the capital is turned upside down.

The timid, useless princess everyone knew becomes a force of chaos overnight. She visits brothels, takes courtesans under her wing, and puts together a gang of rich young wastrels, charging ahead every day with new ways to fleece her parents. The court officials are heartsick: the Prince Rui’s estate is finished!

Then they discover that she owns the capital’s most popular brothel, runs its most profitable businesses, and even writes the serial novels the Emperor and Empress Dowager follow.

Only then do they realize in horror: this crazy girl might actually be serious…

With her knack for “hearing people’s thoughts,” Yu Xiangwan gets the scoop on everyone in the capital. The Noble Consort’s secrets, the powerful ministers’ schemes, even the remnants of the previous dynasty plotting in secret, all become material for serial novels that take the city by storm. She opens an auction house with one hand to revolutionize the marketplace, and builds an assassin organization with the other to bring order to the martial world, turning “neglecting her proper duties” into an earth-shaking enterprise.

As the princes fight tooth and nail for the throne, Yu Xiangwan, who’s made her fingers sore from counting money, yawns. “What’s the point of fighting? What a hassle.” Then she simply sends the Crown Prince, who follows her around all day, to sit on the Dragon Throne.

On the day of the new Emperor’s wedding, the princess runs away, leaving behind a letter: “I’d rather have the courtesan sisters at my brothel and mountains of gold than become Empress.”

Later, all of the capital repeats the same thing: “Looking for His Majesty? Get in line at the Princess’s Listening Heart Pavilion first.”
