Zhang Bo, Crime Lord: Back in Place and Running the Show

The Powerhouse Zhang Bo: Back in the Game, Ruling the Roost In 1998, Zhang Bo, a brash young man from the countryside near Shuyang, set foot in Taizhou. He carved out a path through bloodshed and chaos, using sheer ruthlessness and cunning to dominate the region. Casinos and territory alike fell under his control, and in Taizhou’s underworld, he was the undisputed boss. Then the law finally caught up with him. Ten years behind bars wore away his viciousness, but could never dull the edge of the streetwise instincts in his blood. By the time he is released, Taizhou’s underworld has changed beyond recognition. His old crew has scattered, new kings have risen, and the casino scene is rife with undercurrents. Knives flash beneath the rising and falling dice cups, schemes hide behind flying chips, and territory wars, rigged games, and factional feuds have reduced the old rules to shreds amid a haze of money and excess. Some covet his former reputation, some want to eliminate him once and for all, and a new power wants to grind him underfoot to prove itself. But they have all forgotten that Zhang Bo, who clawed his way up from the bottom to become an underworld powerhouse and kept his spirit intact through ten years in prison, has never been a pushover. Alone and watching coolly from the sidelines, he quietly sets his pieces in motion, facing down every upstart and rising star with the seasoned ruthlessness he has honed over the years. He strikes back with traps at the casinos, makes his authority felt at underworld negotiations, and as word spreads, his old brothers return to his side while dormant forces stir into action. The knives flash once more, and the dice decide the game. Ten years of silence were only the prelude to an even more ruthless return. This time, Zhang Bo takes charge of the underworld again, overturning the chaos beneath Taizhou and showing every clown who dares challenge him: even after ten years behind bars, he is still the underworld powerhouse who once ruled the region. Taizhou’s fate is his to decide!
