The Lover’s Temptation

Synopsis of the murder-mystery game *Villa of Passion: The Lover’s Temptation* As dusk wraps a luxurious villa halfway up the mountain in shadows of indulgence, rising business star Gu Yanchen hosts a gilded dinner party, inviting his publicly acknowledged girlfriend Su Wan, business partner Lu Ze, distant cousin Shen Hao, resident photographer Xia Mo, and private housekeeper Lin Weiwei. Beneath the crystal chandelier, exquisite dishes and red wine frame the metallic letters spelling “The Lover’s Temptation.” The gathering seems all smiles and clinking glasses, but it is steeped in secrets: Su Wan and Lu Ze’s old romance, Shen Hao’s scheme to settle his gambling debts, Xia Mo’s obsession with taking secret photographs, and Lin Weiwei’s covert investigation into the villa’s past. Then there are the old photograph Gu Yanchen keeps in his drawer, the urgent secret calls late at night, and his eerie warning: “If I’m gone, don’t get involved in what happens here.” Midway through the dinner, Gu Yanchen abruptly leaves for his study. Everyone scatters, each with their own agenda. One slips away under an excuse to send a discreet signal; another seizes the chance to search for financial records; someone else tries to press for the truth about the past. Then a scream shatters the villa’s silence. Gu Yanchen lies slumped over his desk, a silver fruit knife in his chest. The words “villa bequeathed” stand out on the torn fragments of his will, and the security cameras were cut off ten minutes before the crime. The party held in the name of “temptation” has become a trap for everyone. Each person is a suspect, every secret could be a motive for murder, and deep inside the villa lies a past truth even more shocking than the crime itself.
