The Apocalypse’s Number One Vegetable Farmer

Zombies roam unchecked, supernatural abilities awaken, and humanity struggles to survive amid the ruins. While every other survivor is fighting for a single can of expired food, Lin Shi crouches on cracked concrete, fretting over a palm-sized clump of dirt. Others awaken lightning, fire, or super strength. The ability he awakens is the Shennong System, a farming system. His task is to grow the most ordinary pre-apocalypse potatoes; his reward is ten plump seeds and a small bag of organic fertilizer. So amid savage howls and explosions, a strange, cautious figure appears, protecting a broken flowerpot in his arms. He knocks out a robber with potatoes and trades ripened cucumbers to the settlement for a rusty hoe. When a zombie horde reaches the city walls and despair engulfs everyone, Lin Shi silently hauls out a cartload of… cabbages glowing with an uncanny light.
