Two Gifted Detectives: Sir, Stop Stealing My Cases!

In the Great Yong Dynasty, people with supernatural abilities live hidden among ordinary folk. But a bizarre case known as the Bone-Erosion Case shatters the peace.

Su Qinghuan is a hot-tempered folk healer who can conjure a stream of healing light with her fingertips. The one thing she can't cure is her compulsion to snap back at people. She can't meet anyone without trading barbs. Shen Jinghong is the capital's youngest female constable, able to ride the wind and track her quarry, with hearing sharp enough to catch everything. But whenever she runs into Su Qinghuan, her powers fail: the moment Su's healing light touches her, her wind-riding technique goes haywire.

A case forces the two of them to work together. Su Qinghuan thinks Shen Jinghong is “stiff and boring, and relies on the wind to catch thieves.” Shen Jinghong thinks Su Qinghuan is “all thumbs, and even talks back while examining corpses.” But during their investigation, Su Qinghuan nearly dies after exhausting her powers to save Shen Jinghong, while Shen Jinghong takes an assassin's attack to protect Su Qinghuan and is badly wounded. Su uses her healing light to soothe Shen's injuries, and Shen uses her wind-riding technique to show Su the moonlit sights of the capital.

From “You annoy me” to “I can't do without you,” the pair finally realize, as a hidden organization of people with supernatural abilities emerges and plots to overthrow the dynasty, that the best partners are the ones who can counter each other and protect each other. Together, they'll crush the conspiracy and make their life a sweet romance.

“Constable Shen, I found the clue first this time, so you have to listen to me!”

“Doctor Su, first get your bloodstained hands off my uniform.”
