After the AI Guru Accidentally Flirts with the Drama-Queen Director

Su Qingyuan, an algorithm architect at a leading AI company, can crack 99 percent of the world’s problems with code, but can’t figure out her own life as a “high-IQ social misfit.” She uses algorithms to find the quickest way through a supermarket line and gets accused of nitpicking; relies on the System to plan the “perfect itinerary” and ends up wandering into an abandoned amusement park; and mistakes Lu Xingyan, who is filming a “monster movie,” for an “alien.” Lu Xingyan, head of a scrappy film crew with dreams of becoming a director, can fool security guards and impress investors with his acting, but always drops the ball at the crucial moment. The monster-movie props break down, potential investors think he’s a con artist, and when he finally meets a “tech genius” in Su Qingyuan, she mistakes him for an “alien specimen” and won’t let go. A botched capture leaves these two complete opposites trapped inside an abandoned carousel. Then a System theft crisis forces them to team up and “cause trouble”: posing as food delivery workers to break into a rival company, scaring security guards with monster props, and staging a “dramatic” counterattack at a press conference. Su Qingyuan thinks love is a predictable algorithm, but Lu Xingyan’s refusal to play by the rules teaches her to let go of logic and embrace the unexpected. Lu Xingyan believes dreams are a reckless gamble, but with Su Qingyuan’s “precision assists,” he discovers that it’s more fun to have someone by your side on the road to making them come true. This is an absurd love story about a “high-IQ social misfit” and a “theatrical director.” There’s no conventional sweetness, just hilarious misunderstandings that will leave you clutching your stomach with laughter. From mistaking an alien for a monster to teaming up to build a career, from mutual irritation to running toward each other, they prove in the most ridiculous way that the best kind of love…
