Wen Zhixia Accidentally Flirts With an Iceberg, Then Laughs Herself Silly Every Day

In everyone else’s eyes, Wen Zhixia is a sweet, innocent girl who “uses all her intelligence on academics and is a disaster in daily life.” She can measure and mix chemicals precisely in the lab, yet pour dish soap into her cereal thinking it’s milk. She can solve astrophysics problems with ease, yet mistake soy sauce for vinegar at the supermarket and earnestly argue with the clerk about “why the vinegar is black.” One day, while delivering research collaboration documents for her advisor, she rushes into the Xingyan Group just in time, only to find the elevator overloaded. She gets swept along with the crowd into the CEO’s private elevator. Facing Lu Shiyan, dressed in a bespoke suit and radiating an icy aura, she quietly complains that “the elevator during rush hour is more crowded than a centrifuge in the lab.” When he is about to leave, she casually hands him the crumpled tissue in her fist. “Wipe off your sweat. You look more exhausted than I do after running an 800-meter race.” By the time Wen Zhixia realizes she has trespassed into the “CEO’s elevator” and tries to catch up to apologize, she panics in the hallway and crashes straight into Lu Shiyan’s arms. The collaboration documents scatter everywhere, and the unopened candied hawthorn skewer she just bought lands precisely on his perfectly pressed tie knot. Lu Shiyan, the business world’s notorious “Iceberg King of Hell,” is used to everyone treating him with extreme caution and deference. Yet he falls at the hands of Wen Zhixia, a “walking calamity machine.” He watches her crouch on the floor picking up documents, mixing the “cooperation agreement” in with a “supermarket receipt.” He watches her knit a crooked “rainbow tie” to make up for the one she dirtied, then say, “This one won’t show stains. Wear it to meetings from now on, and you won’t have to worry about getting poked by candied hawthorn again.” He watches her get surrounded by reporters asking about his “love life”
