The CEO’s Imagination Runs Wild, and the Sweet Little Flower Plays Along

Su Wanmian is a sweet, soft-hearted little flower who would kneel down and apologize even for accidentally stepping on an ant. Her greatest ambition in life is to grow sunflowers in her flower shop that can bloom for three months. But she never imagined that one day, while delivering flowers to the Gu Group’s CEO, rumored to be so cold he could freeze an air conditioner, she would trip over the threshold and dump an entire bucket of sunflowers onto CEO Gu Yanshen’s limited-edition suit. Even more absurdly, the impact somehow unlocked the “universe of wild imaginings” he had kept hidden for twenty years. Gu Yanshen is the “Iceberg Hades” everyone in the business world fears. In public, he always maintains his aloof image: “one sentence can leave an opponent speechless, one glance can freeze a subordinate stiff.” In private, however, his imagination is more outrageous than a science-fiction movie. He’s convinced he’s an “undercover agent from outer space,” his special assistant is an “alien liaison,” the chandelier in the conference room is a “surveillance camera,” and even the sunflowers Su Wanmian brings him are an “alien energy receiver.” Ever since she hit Gu Yanshen, Su Wanmian’s life has gone completely off the rails. She opens the door one morning to find Gu Yanshen crouched outside, wrapped in a quilt, saying, “The alien signal is too strong. Your home is the only safe zone.” At lunch, Gu Yanshen suddenly snatches her tomato and solemnly declares, “This is a bomb disguised by aliens. I’ll dispose of it for you.” When she’s working late, Gu Yanshen rushes in carrying the sign from her flower shop, shouting, “Headquarters has notified us. We need your sign to activate the force field.” A sweet little flower meets a CEO with a wild imagination. She has to help him “fight the alien forces” while dealing with his subordinates, whose minds have been led astray by his fantasies (for example, his special assistant earnestly reports every day, “No alien spies spotted today…”
