The Heir’s Wife Has Arrived: The Whole Capital Is in Stitches

Su Qinghuan, the legitimate daughter of the Jing'an Marquis's household in the Great Jing dynasty, was raised from childhood in the martial world's “Valley of Madmen,” where she learned all kinds of mischievous tricks. She can braid the thousand-mile horse of a prince, or add popping candy to the imperial chef's soup. But a marriage contract forces her to wed Xiao Jingyuan, heir to the Prince of Jing's title. Everyone assumes she's a country bumpkin who has never seen the world and will be easily manipulated by the scheming heir. Instead, Su Qinghuan turns the prince's manor upside down: she pretends to be possessed and performs an exorcism to escape her morning duties, uses the martial world's “itching powder” to treat the heir's “cold-face syndrome,” and even turns the Crown Prince's birthday cake into an emoji at a palace banquet. Xiao Jingyuan originally intends to use the marriage to consolidate his power, but gradually finds himself drawn to this unconventional heir's wife. She may seem like a troublemaker, but when his political enemies frame him, she uncovers evidence using “absurd” methods. She pretends not to understand political scheming, yet can defuse a crisis at court with a “joke.” From testing each other and constantly undermining one another to joining forces against royal turmoil and secrets of the martial world, the two share countless ridiculous, laughter-filled everyday moments. The scheming heir gradually lets down his guard, while his mischievous princess consort finds true love. When the Great Jing dynasty faces internal strife and external threats, this “outrageous” couple uses a collection of “nonsensical” schemes to protect their family and country and bring peace to the realm. Their love, born from a marriage contract, becomes the liveliest legend in the capital and the martial world alike.
