The Awakening of the Young Lady of Old Jinling

Lin Ruoxi, the eldest daughter of the wealthy Lin family in Jinling, had always lived a life of luxury. Then she met Chen Shuheng, an engineer who had returned from studying abroad. Chen told her about the nation’s peril, and Ruoxi gradually awakened to the crisis, using her family’s wealth to support the transport of supplies for the war against Japan. When the Japanese army began to suppress the Lin family, Ruoxi and Shuheng joined forces to protect their home amid the flames of war.
