Brina, Apprentice of the Stoneheart Curse

Brina Stonefist, a dwarf archaeology apprentice from Ironforge, permanently turned her right hand to stone after touching the unstable core of a Titan construct during a crucial excavation in the Uldaman ruins. She also unexpectedly gained the power to control rock. But this “gift” came with a deadly curse: the petrification was slowly and inexorably spreading to the rest of her body. Back in Ironforge, the Explorers' League treated her as an unprecedented “living research specimen,” keeping her under close surveillance and study. Unwilling to become a lab rat, Brina stumbled upon a mysterious clue to reversing the petrification in her family's ancient stonemason notes. Desperate to survive and win her freedom, she risked sneaking into the League's restricted archives to steal a vital formula, only to be betrayed and imprisoned by her colleague, Grayson. On the brink of complete petrification, Brina unexpectedly grasped the deeper secrets of her stone powers, turned Grayson into a statue, and broke out of prison. During her escape, she discovered that Grayson was connected to a shadowy organization called the “Titan's Grasp.” They were hunting her at any cost, intent on taking the power inside her that came from the Titan core. Faced with powerful enemies and a curse steadily consuming her from within, Brina Stonefist resolved to stop running. Clenching her cold stone fist, she strode into the bitter winds of Storm Peaks and embarked on a path of counterattack: a journey to the source of the Titan ruins, where she would seek her last chance to reverse the petrification and take control of her fate.
