Cadence's Redemption in Countertime

Cadence is a gifted rhythmist who can use intricate beats to control the pace of other people’s movements. At the height of her career in the neon metropolis known as Rhythm City, her drumming unexpectedly resonates with the city’s deep energy, the “City Heartbeat,” triggering a catastrophic synchronization. Everyone in the city is forced to move and think in unison, and society freezes in an instant. Overcome by fear and guilt, Cadence becomes the only “free person.” She must venture into the heart of the city and decipher the ancient code of the “City Heartbeat.” Amid chaos and pursuit, she must find a one-of-a-kind “counter-rhythm” to reverse the storm of silence she unleashed herself. This is a profound adventure about the origins of rhythm, individual freedom, and collective will. Cadence must not only save the city, but redefine her own power and responsibility.
