After Cutting Ties with My Family, I Took the Internet by Storm with My Cooking

Su Wanqing is the quintessential “family doormat,” a woman who lets her family bleed her dry. For years, her parents and younger brother drained every penny she had saved through hard work, even pressuring her to sell her marital home to buy him a car. Cornered by her fiancé and family working together to force her hand, she finally comes to her senses. She decisively cuts ties with her parasitic family and calls off the engagement. With nothing to her name, she relies on the one thing she loves and excels at: cooking. She starts with a tiny night-market stall, and her food quickly becomes a sensation thanks to its distinctive flavors and comforting warmth, drawing all sorts of customers, including Huang Long, a low-profile food connoisseur and landlord of a commercial street. As she builds her business, Su Wanqing faces constant harassment from her family, entanglements with her ex, and vicious competition from her rivals. But with her resilience and exceptional cooking skills, she turns the tables on them again and again, growing her little stall into a popular restaurant and eventually building her own food empire. She achieves financial freedom and turns her life around, while also finding true love with Huang Long.
