Painting My Way Back to Life

The real heiress, Su Wan, was switched at birth and raised in the countryside. Before her adoptive mother died, she told Su Wan the truth about her origins. Carrying the sketchbook her mother left behind, Su Wan heads to the city to find her birth family, only to face endless torment from the fake heiress, Lin Zhixia, who steals her competition entry, smears her background, and drives a wedge between her and her birth parents. With her resilience and extraordinary artistic talent, Su Wan wins first place in the National Young Artists Competition with a “Rural Life” series her adoptive mother taught her to paint. She exposes Lin Zhixia’s plagiarism on the spot, helping her birth parents see through the fake heiress and proving through her art that “your family background is never a shackle on your life.” In the end, Su Wan reclaims her identity, becomes a renowned painter, and learns to shine in her own right.
