Exploring the Deep-Sea Megaship and the Interstellar Compass

At the deepest point in the world, the Mariana Trench, professional diver Huo Shen encounters a miracle beyond the limits of human understanding during a routine survey: a colossal bronze ship resting in the ten-thousand-meter abyss, built with techniques belonging to no known civilization or era. There are no living crew members aboard, only countless corpses, sleeping in silence, swollen and grotesque from the pressure of the deep and the passage of time. They seem to have been no more than “cargo” carried by the vessel. Even more astonishing, a complex and intricate bronze compass is still functioning against all odds, shining with an eerie light as it points toward a distant, unknown coordinate in the universe.

Huo Shen’s discovery instantly throws him into the heart of a vortex where global politics, cutting-edge technology, and ancient secrets collide. Governments, mysterious corporations, and fanatical religious groups all rush to get involved, each trying to claim this discovery from beyond the ages for themselves. Huo Shen is forced to dive again with an international research expedition whose members each have their own agenda, hoping to uncover the ship’s secrets.

But they soon discover that this “Stargrave Ship” is not lifeless. The compass points not only to the stars, but also serves as a beacon, a device to awaken something. The deep sea’s silence is broken as ancient whispers begin to echo through the team members’ dreams, and the seemingly lifeless “corpses” aboard the ship reveal a horrifying vitality.
