The Memory Court: A Prosecutor Father and Son’s Feud

In the near-future city of New Athens, the justice system has undergone a revolutionary reform with the introduction of the “Memory Court.” Prosecutor Kendrick Jones is a leading expert in the field. Cold and precise, he can extract and project fragments of a defendant’s memories as irrefutable evidence. Then the most challenging case of his career arrives: he is assigned to prosecute a man accused of murder, his own father, Elijah Jones, who lost all his memories in an accident years ago.

Elijah was found standing beside a mutilated corpse, the murder weapon in his hand, yet he remembers neither the crime nor his own past. Kendrick must delve into his father’s chaotic, dark maze of memories to find the evidence needed to convict him. Each projection becomes a brutal test of their father-son bond and of human nature. What Kendrick witnesses may be his father’s bloody crimes, or fragments of a truth someone has carefully concealed.
