Aftershocks on a Deserted Island

Aftershock on a Deserted Island tells the story of Lin Ye, a former geological engineer, and the survivors of a plane crash who are stranded on a mysterious island. The seventeen people encounter bones marked with bite wounds, hunting "islanders," and unknown creatures in underground caverns on this land covered in spiral totems. The discovery of half a Japanese army diary gradually brings to light a 1943 disappearance and the conspiracy of the "Spiral Organization." The island turns out to be the remains of prehistoric creatures, and the "aftershocks" are actually its immune response to invaders. As the group struggles through fights over resources, pursuit by the organization, and the island's collapse, Lin Ye realizes that only a resonating vibration triggered by a seismic device can put the island to "sleep." When they finally escape by motorboat, the sunken island and the spiral mark that has quietly appeared on Lin Ye's arm hint that this "aftershock" is far from over.
