Ashen Marks: Forgotten Whispers

When the city’s clamor drowns out whispers of the past, some patterns always quietly emerge from the ashes.

Deep in the jungle of steel and concrete, people keep disappearing without leaving a single clue, leaving the police powerless. These are no ordinary crimes, but the resurgence of some ancient force.

Shen Mo, an archival restorer who chose to keep a low profile after a mysterious “accident,” has an extraordinary sensitivity to documents long forgotten by people. He discovers that these seemingly isolated disappearances are strangely connected to blurry markings on an ancient city map.

At the same time, Lin Xi, a young antiques appraiser, accidentally touches an unusual energy hidden inside a damaged ancient book while restoring it, and begins to experience bizarre visions.
