Coding at Dusk

In a near future where biological information and mechanical prosthetics are deeply integrated, top genetic repair specialist Luo Xinghe is caught up in a bizarre crisis known as “Memory Fracture Syndrome.” Patients have not only lost their pasts; their consciousness seems to be consumed by some kind of unidentifiable code. When he joins forces with Elena, a researcher at a mysterious multinational genetic technology company, he discovers that this is no ordinary disease, but a new threat aimed straight at the very nature of human consciousness. Is every “fracture” in memory sounding an alarm left behind by an ancient civilization, or heralding the birth of a new species? Before consciousness collapses completely, they must uncover the secrets hidden deep within the genome and stop an “echo” from beyond their dimension from devouring all of humanity.
