Iron and Blood: A Song of Strife, Hunted by Jin Soldiers from the Start

I open my eyes to find myself being hunted by Jin soldiers on a snowy night. A history teaching assistant's icy voice rings in my ears: “You've transmigrated into Song Gaozong, Zhao Gou, and are being pursued by Jin soldiers.” Seeing Wang Boyan trembling beside me, I blurt out, “Old Wang, stop shaking. Keep it together,” and realize something is very wrong. The cries of a child whose refugee mother froze to death in his arms pierce my ears. “From this day on, I will no longer be the Song Gaozong who clings to safety south of the Yangtze.” The System chimes in at just the right moment: 【Wise Ruler System awakened: Yue Fei's loyalty +30%】 【Obtained the blueprint for the Divine Arm Bow】 【Imperial decree to the nation: I, Zhao Gou, will seek no peace!】 A scout in the Jin camp reports in alarm: “Zhao Gou... He's like a different person!”
