The Eerie Elevator 404

Lin Mo, an administrative specialist at Shengjing Tower, is one of the last employees to leave the cold office building each night. She's used to the old elevator No. 3 getting stuck from time to time, but then the nightmare begins. At midnight, the familiar floor numbers on the elevator display are replaced by a blood-red "404." When the doors open, there's a dilapidated corridor filled with the stench of decay, its walls plastered with faded posters dated 2020.

No one believes what happened to her. The security footage is always "normal," as if the 404th floor that swallowed everything were merely a hallucination brought on by exhaustion. But anonymous warning notes, an old key that appears inexplicably at her workstation, and the face on a corridor poster, identical to that of the protagonist in a mysterious disappearance case from three years ago, all force her to admit the truth: this is no malfunction.

As her investigation deepens, the truth behind the disappearance, the company's senior executives' dark secrets, and even the childhood memories her mother deliberately buried intertwine with the building's eerie legends. Lin Mo realizes that the 404 elevator is more than a gateway to another dimension. It's a prison of lingering resentment, built by restless ghosts. She must uncover the long-buried crimes, or the next time the elevator doors open, she will become the latest "missing person"...
