Campus Exorcism Records

Beneath the ginkgo trees on the grounds of the old school, untold stories are always waiting to be uncovered. After Lin Mo unexpectedly finds the Soul-Illuminating Mirror left behind by his grandfather, long-buried secrets begin coming to light. A costume in the theater’s backstage oozes blood, a piano plays by itself in the music room late at night, and a finger bone is tucked inside an old library book. Every relic is haunted by a resentful spirit that refuses to leave.

As Lin Mo investigates with his friends Chen Mo and the school doctor Wen Tang, an old yin-vein formation from the Republican era gradually emerges. The Nine-Lives Lamp still burns, the blood patterns of the Soul-Locking Curse form again, and the trap Lin Zhengxiong laid in pursuit of immortality knots several generations’ fates into an inescapable snare. Zhou Jing’s costume conceals an unfinished performance of The Dream of the Peony Pavilion; Su Wan’s paintbrush holds an unfinished painting of a ginkgo grove; and Chen Li’s lab notes record an incomplete formation diagram… Every soul imprisoned in time is waiting for a belated “Rest in peace.”

The mirror’s reflections reveal the truth, and the old relics tell of their grievances. When the lingering energy of the yin vein surges once more, Lin Mo finally understands: exorcism has never been about driving away resentful spirits. It’s about helping the forgotten finish their stories properly.
