Water Margin: Favorability System, Saving Jinlian and Taking Her to Liangshan

Jiang Han transmigrated into the world of Water Margin and spent five years as a hunter building up his stats, yet he was so broke he couldn't even afford the fare to travel. When he passed through Qinghe County and saw Pan Jinlian being beaten, he finally recognized the Water Margin plot.

The System displayed a main quest: Save Pan Jinlian and change the course of history. He traded half a pig carcass and half a string of copper coins for Pan Jinlian, then burned her contract of sale. That night, as the little girl heated water, she blushed and asked, "Big brother, why is the fire starter on your body standing up?" Jiang Han clutched his waist and crouched by the river. "That's not a fire starter... Forget it, if you think it is, then it is."

The System rewarded him with a fine black steed, fifty taels of silver, and Pan Jinlian's talent, Three Months of Peach Blossoms: medicine she handled became thirty percent more effective. His mother, bedridden for five years, drank one bowl of medicine and was able to walk again. But Zhang Dahu wouldn't stand for it. He sent his thug Dakun barging into the courtyard to seize her. Dakun kicked his mother to the ground, looped a hemp rope around Pan Jinlian's neck, and dragged her away. Jiang Han rushed back with his hunting bow in hand, and his mother sat on the ground, pointing toward the county town. "Son, hurry and save Jinlian!"

He swung into the saddle and drew his bowstring taut. "Zhang Dahu, you laid a hand on one of my people. Don't blame me for breaking every bone in your body."
