Journey to the West: Eight Primordial Qi, Slaughtering Crab Generals in the East Sea

Before the Investiture of the Gods, Chen Xiu was taken in as Tongtian Jiaozhu's last disciple. He spent only a few days as the beloved pet of the Jie Sect before being locked away in Water Curtain Cave for over a century. When he came out, the Jie Sect had already fallen, and he was the only one left alive.

But he holds a secret unknown to all of the primordial world: the eighth Hongmeng Violet Qi is hidden in "the One that Escaped," and he has long since refined it. With all eight Hongmeng Violet Qis in his hands, he bypasses the Heavenly Dao and tinkers together a "Heavenly Dao server," bringing Earth's fourth disaster into Flower-Fruit Mountain as cheat-powered clone bodies. All the experience they gain from fighting monsters feeds back to him, letting him build his way to sainthood through sheer numbers.

The hundred players in the first closed beta transform into macaques and hack at the East Sea shrimp soldiers. A low-level cannon-fodder enemy solo-wipes a full party and sends them back to the respawn point, leaving the entire internet stunned. In the second wave, hardcore grinders cobble together catapults, poison nets, rolling logs, and boulders. After sacrificing three hundred lives, they wear down the shrimp soldiers, while Dao Chops the World steals the first-kill experience and immediately levels up three times. Just as the entire server is celebrating, a level-28 crab general leads five hundred shrimp soldiers ashore to set up camp. The Mountain God and the local earth deity of Flower-Fruit Mountain watch the players' expressions change from fear to greed as they stare at the crab general, and fall silent as one. "What in the world are these monkeys?"
