Republic-Era Adept: Innate True Qi, a Pure Heart, and a Gift for Cultivation

After transmigrating into the world of Fist of Fury, Li Yixuan becomes the young master of the Tiger Might Martial Arts School. His father was killed by Akutagawa Ryuichi of the Hongkou Dojo, and the original owner died with a grudge after failing to avenge him. The moment their souls merge, the Divine Martial System binds to him with its first directive: personally take the "Sick Man of East Asia" hat off the heads of the people of the Dragon Kingdom.

After half a year of grueling practice, Li Yixuan masters the Tiger's Roar Golden Bell Shield at the mid-stage of the Bright Strength realm, striking with eight hundred jin of force and smashing wooden posts with a single punch. He storms the Hongkou Dojo alone. Forty Japanese students swarm him, but he tears through them like a tiger among sheep, one punch per man, one kick sweeping a whole row, leaving the courtyard full of groaning victims. Akutagawa Ryuichi unleashes his lethal technique, "Swallow Skimming the Water." Li Yixuan catches it barehanded, then slams a tiger claw into his opponent's skull, crushing it. Akutagawa's legs break beneath him as he kneels, dying with his eyes still open.

White funeral banners flutter outside the Jingwu School's mourning hall. Huo Yuanjia's vengeance has yet to be fulfilled. Li Yixuan walks out of the Hongkou Dojo and looks toward the Japanese Imperial Army Hospital, murmuring:

"Akutagawa was just an appetizer. Fujita Takeshi, you're next."

Behind him, the Hongkou Dojo's sign crashes to the ground in pieces.
