Vast Seas, Tiny Dust

"Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." Planning ahead is essential both to gaining wealth while preserving nature and to turning natural beauty into wealth. Over the next fifty years, guided by AI, human science and technology advance at a breakneck pace. But the amount of noxious gas accumulating on the Earth's surface grows sharply each year, and a steep rise in temperatures brings modern civilization close to collapse, drawing intense concern from countries around the world. China is the first to champion the principle that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and to promote "building a community with a shared future for humanity." Thus, the widely obstructed "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains" plan is born.

Cancer carries Zhang Weilan fifty years into the future, where her former life has become a distant dream. Faced with AI's proposal to keep humans in captivity, she journeys to a distant world forty light-years away to pursue sustainable development. Blue skies, white clouds, lucid waters, and lush mountains... She will cross the vast, empty reaches of space and use her delicate hands to recreate the home she remembers, alive with birdsong and fragrant flowers.
