The Women's Tiger and Leopard Patrol Team

Majestic China has echoed with the roars of tigers and dragons and the cries of phoenixes since ancient times. Yet over the years, dragons and phoenixes have become mere symbols, their beautiful legends touched with sorrow. China's vast lands and rivers remain, and though tiger roars can occasionally be heard, tigers themselves are hard to find. By the 1970s and 1980s, the largest and fiercest of them, the Northeast tiger, had nearly vanished from China and was listed as endangered on the United Nations Red List. The fate of the Northeast leopard, also known as the Amur leopard, was even worse!

Without the roar of the tiger, without the apex of the food chain, the mountains lose their soul!

If that happens, how unfortunate and sorrowful it would be for future generations!

And so, in a mysterious, untamed wilderness at the northernmost and easternmost reaches of the motherland, a valiant all-female patrol team was formed! This vast mountain wilderness, once lifeless, deathly silent, and barren, finally welcomed its tigers and leopards home thanks to their efforts and those of the older generations. They preserved China's totem for future generations, and the mountains finally regained their soul!

You look at a tiger once, and the tiger has already looked at you a hundred times!

An all-female tiger and leopard patrol? A first not just in China, but in the world! Hardship, bitterness, sorrow, tears, and sweat, alongside youth, devotion, responsibility, and sacrifice: who can understand what it takes?

The secret realm of tigers and leopards, a love at first sight!
