Long Nights, Eternal Peace

Years ago, Lin Yongge was killed in the line of duty during a capture operation. Ten years later, his son Lin He reactivated his father's police badge number, with one fervent wish: to personally bring the criminal responsible to justice. By a twist of fate, a criminal investigation Lin He was working on crossed paths with a case secretly investigated by the Ministry of State Security's investigation division. As a result, Lin He was transferred to national security, bringing him one step closer to his target. As they painstakingly pieced together the case, Lin He joined forces with He Zhixiao, a computer genius who had been deaf in her left ear since childhood. Together, they tracked down a female spy hiding in the country and followed the clues to capture the mastermind behind it all. The case's resolution also etched the words "national security" deep into the hearts of every Chinese citizen.
