Scorching Ice

After being sexually assaulted as a child, Yan Qi never dared tell her family. She buried everything deep inside, but as she grew older, the psychological strain mounted. Nightmares became frequent, and her trauma gradually began to affect her daily life.

By day, she would suffer all kinds of hallucinations, along with repression, anxiety, pain, and hatred... It wasn't until she saw the person who had assaulted her sent to prison that she finally began to move forward and find peace. She came to understand that the source of her pain wasn't the memories, nor making peace with the past, but other people's lack of understanding, their malicious speculation, and the public controversy.

Yan Qi found a way through because of love, chose to keep fighting because of love, and, out of love, chose to become a role model and open a path for more survivors.
