The Adult Romance Playbook

On the day of their blind date, Pang Yi was forty minutes late. The man sat in the cafe with three empty cups in front of him, yet didn’t voice a single complaint. She thought she’d met a gentleman, until their second meeting, when he took out his phone and opened a spreadsheet. “I have three nonnegotiable requirements for a partner. Take a look and see if you can accept them.” She smiled, read them one by one, then asked, “I have three requirements for you too. Do you want to hear them?” In the adult world, you discuss terms first, then feelings. But some conditions have a way of costing you your heart.
