At three o'clock in the morning, when the last lights in the city went out, only one 24-hour convenience store was still lit. The shopkeeper is a transparent person in the cubicle during the day, and a listener to the dead at night. Every soul lingering on the edge of death will buy a special product here: a note filled with wishes. Helping the deceased grandmother to knit the last scarf for her grandson; giving a belated bouquet of roses to the wife of the firefighter who died in the line of duty; taking the lost little girl to see a fireworks show that she missed during her lifetime... But the wishes of the dead often hide the sins of the living.
