I Opened a Model Shop, So Why Are You Making Humanoid Mechs?

Lu Ming transmigrated into the owner of a bankrupt model shop. He was buried in bad debts and couldn’t even afford the instant noodles upstairs. Just as he was about to sell the shop’s plastic figurines for scrap, the long-dead System finally rebooted. To pay the utility bills, Lu Ming reluctantly accepted a bizarre fifty-yuan order from an engineering nerd: make a drone shell capable of breaking the sound barrier. With a budget of just fifty yuan, Lu Ming casually hammered together a miniature antigravity craft from scrap metal. When the propellerless hunk of metal lifted straight off the ground at a university competition and punched through the clouds with a sonic boom, the professors and military representatives went wild. “You call this a drone model? This is clearly the engine of the latest aerospace fighter!” The military came knocking in the middle of the night, only to find Lu Ming livestreaming a pitch for his latest product. “Thanks for the rocket, bro! Next up, let me show you our shop’s brand-new optical stealth model aircraft!” As the shop grew, things got stranger and stranger. A drone can’t carry anything too heavy? Just upgrade it with antigravity! The humanoid mech you built is hard to operate? Just bring in some drones and have four of them pull it along! The cashier at the shop is an intelligent AI girl who looks just like a real person, and the security guard at the entrance is a two-meter-tall, fully armed mech! A film crew offers him fifty million to build a life-size mech as a movie prop. Instead, he builds a humanoid mech that can be operated indoors! Then one day, the sight of a giant mech being hauled into the sky by four drones shocks the entire internet. “Isn’t this Pacific Rim brought to life?”
