While investigating the truth behind his mother Evelyn Houguorou's death, Liu Jie discovered that Nashibi Houguorou was conducting an evil sacrifice, planning to kill everyone in the country to gain immortality. Liu Jie was originally Cadis. His father, Endis, stopped the sacrifice with his life and became the Stone of Life, which he hid in the Box of Fate. Nashibi later killed Liu Jie's mother.

In his first battle against Nashibi, Liu Jie was betrayed by Halkenburg Houguorou and surrounded by the Blood Raven's five generals: Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. With Rogers giving his life to buy time, Liu Jie escaped using a Greed Island game console.

In his second battle against Nashibi, Liu Jie used the Heavens Exchange for the second time and obtained Uchiha Madara's corpse, greatly increasing his strength. But his companions, including Xiao Jie, were captured, and he was defeated.

In his third battle against Nashibi, during the sacrificial ceremony, he successfully defeated both Nashibi and Saint Lord.
