The world was once supported by fourteen pillars. Today, the world only knows thirteen of them. This is a world of high martial arts practicing "law". They weave a web of law, monitor the world, and hunt down all "lawbreakers" - those who accidentally touch the reverberations of the imaginary law and begin to doubt the reality of the world. The story begins in Frostleaf City, a frontier place where the spiritual tide is about to die out. Young Lin Qi, wearing the black jade pendant left by his late father, was seen by others as a waste who had made no progress after nine years of training. Only he knew that the jade pendant swallowed up the light and shadow, blocking him from the endless blasphemous whispers in his ears and the terrifying sight of the cracked world in his eyes.
