Red Mist Survival Record

In 2077, "Red Fog" swept across the world. Unknown red particles in the atmosphere eroded biological gene chains. Within three months, 90% of humans mutated into "alterants" - highly aggressive aberrations that retained some biological instincts (such as claw tearers, tentacle infected, bone armor beasts, etc.). The remaining humans hid in underground bunkers or temporary safe zones, and the civilization system collapsed. The red fog has changed the ecology: plants grow wildly and are toxic, metals corrode at an accelerated pace, and electronic equipment fails on a large scale. Only low-power communicators and special protective clothing can temporarily resist environmental erosion. At the same time, due to genetic specialties, some humans awakened "source energy" in the red mist - an energy that can strengthen the body and control elements or materials, and became "evolvers" among the survivors.
