I sincerely give you a suggestion. When writing about children's feelings, don't let old relatives come and go. Writing about fighting, playing small pranks on each other (not bullying like "tying a girl's hair to a chair"), and sneaking around (such as "the teacher occasionally pokes her in class") are better than kissing each other. And it has to be mutual, or the man takes the initiative and then the heroine ruthlessly suppresses the beating (I prefer this, because little Hermione doesn't have the character to play pranks).
